Pharma mapping
Who actually buys — the pharmas that could acquire or partner DOL-001, mapped by indication, stage and data appetite.
Founding signals
Three layers of intelligence
Indication × pharma. For each pain indication, is a given pharma a buyer — and at what depth of signal? Every pale cell is a gap we still have to fill; the empty cell is the action signal. Click a company name to open its card.
Who buys, and how early. Each pharma placed by reachability now (how early it transacts — DOL-001 is preclinical, so early buyers are reachable today) against fit with DOL-001 (signal strength across our target indications: neuropathic, post-op, cancer, VCP). Upper-right = priority targets. Click a point to open the card.
Deal anatomy — the benchmark layer. Public non-opioid pain transactions, newest first: who bought or licensed what, at which stage and price. The stage column is the tell — it shows how early a real buyer will move.
Signal log. Append-only capture of incoming pharma intelligence — congress verbatim, hires, earnings quotes, deals — dated and tagged, newest first.
The human map. The company is an output of the human map — roughly thirty to fifty people decide pain therapeutics inside pharma. These academic KOLs anchor the network and open the warm paths.
Why this exists. Dolinnov’s final buyer is a pharma, not a fund — funds only anticipate what a pharma will buy. This map is the upstream work that aligns the Series A package to a real buyer’s appetite: an indication, a buyer, and a data package that match.
Tiers. Tier 1 — explicit incoming signal or category benchmark (Lilly, Grünenthal, Vertex, Ionis). Tier 2 — active pain presence, recent deal or pipeline (Kyorin, Pfizer, AbbVie, Novartis, Lundbeck, Takeda). Tier 3 — watchlist; no mapping effort until a fresh signal moves a name up.
Source doctrine (decreasing reliability):
- Congress scientific talks (IASP, PN Summit, ASGCT, AAPM, SfN) — pharma research leads say publicly what they care about. Reliable, dated, under-exploited.
- Direct contact with pharma scientists — the real no’s originate here.
- Recent deal data — a lagging but opposable signal of stage and structure.
- Investor relations / R&D days — gold mine, manual extraction.
- BD contacts — last; useful to open a door, structurally enthusiastic, not the source of truth.
Discipline rules. No cold outreach before the commodity and differentiating layers are complete on that target. No top-tier intro before two N-1 conversations on the same pharma. No more than 30% of project time on commodity research.
Refresh. The data lives in the Airtable base Dolinnov: Pharma mapping (Pharmas / Signal log / KOLs) — the single source of truth. Edit a row, and the page is regenerated from it. Never edit the HTML by hand.
